This was recorded live at Jamm London for a Novation event so I used my Novation remote SL and Novation Nocturn controlling Traktor Pro.

Freerange & Jimpster of course!! Haha! There are so many good labels and producers out there at the moment. Ones that stick out for me are Room With A View, Dessous, Poker Flat & SUOL. Producer wise I am digging The Revenge, KiNK & Pezzner.

House and all her wonderful variations. Deep/Chicago/Detroit/Mid-Tempo/Disco et al.

1200s, CDJ1000s, DJM800 and the heartache, sweat and love of a thousand generations.
What is your favourite producer and/or label?
My current favourites are Kyle Hall, Arto Mwambe and Floating Points. Just when you thought every sound had been made, they’re three who seem to really be make fresh, original stuff.
Label-wise, really liking Rush Hour, Delusions Of Grandeur and Prime Numbers. I will buy anything these labels put out without needing to listen first. But I must also mention Kerri Chandler, Moodymann, The Revenge, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Manuel Tur, John Roberts, Cobblestone Jazz, I:Cube and no doubt countless others – as being huge influences on my approach to songwriting, particularly over the past year.
